It tips several pixels at <em>The Wizard of Oz<\/em>, celebrates the power of books and stories to comfort, delight, entertain, teach, and restore. This video might make your throat a little lumpy in places and, if you&#8217;re me, cause the ol&#8217; eyes to leak a few tears. It&#8217;s marvelous and a little mysterious.<br \/>\n<iframe src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/35404908?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/35404908\">The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/moonbot\">Moonbot Studios<\/a> on <a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\">Vimeo<\/a>.<br \/>\nA bookstore comes to life after hours in &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?feature=player_embedded&amp;v=SKVcQnyEIT8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Joy of Books<\/a>,&#8221; a mesmerizing little stop-action film by a husband-and-wife team and many many volunteers. The labor involved in making this will be evident to anyone, and especially to booksellers who can&#8217;t help imagining the hours it took to shelve and move and reorganize and reshelve all those books!).
