Since then he&#8217;s been reveling in the joys of self-employment, as many artists and writers do when they aren&#8217;t bemoaning the cost of single-payer health care, worrying about the source of their next paycheck, or missing the company of others engaged in similar work.<\/p>\n<p>Last week Gareth&nbsp;e-mailed me to announce that he&#8217;d found&nbsp;his new theme song. I laughed out loud when I heard the lyrics to this VERY catchy little tune&nbsp;by They Might Be Giants that many of you may feel you can relate to, and most of you are likely to find very entertaining (though you might find&nbsp;this song is&nbsp;stuck in your head for days &#8212; consider yourselves warned)! It&#8217;s animated in&nbsp;kid-friendly\/grown-up-friendly&nbsp;fashion and viewable&nbsp;by way of&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tmbw.net\/wiki\/Main_Page\" rel=\"noopener\">This Might Be a Wiki<\/a>, the They Might Be Giants knowledge base. Click on the image below to get this party started&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/a.media.global.go.com\/waltdisneyrecords\/podcasts\/theymightbegiants\/nevergotowork.mp4\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.publishersweekly.com\/articles\/blog\/660000266\/20080122\/TMBGsm.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Watching the video again before posting it here, it suddenly struck me that the line drawings (in particular the animated ones during the &quot;practice trumpet every day&quot; section) look like they could&#8217;ve been done by <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.followtheline.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Laura Ljungkvist<\/a>, author\/illustrator of (most recently) <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/us.penguingroup.com\/nf\/Book\/BookDisplay\/0,,9780670062256,00.html\" rel=\"noopener\">Follow the Line Through the House<\/a>. I&#8217;ve got no reason to think that Laura actually DID do the drawings for that TMBG animation, but&nbsp;the very talented Laura would certainly have been capable of doing so!
