{"id":526,"date":"2009-07-22T08:10:00","date_gmt":"2009-07-22T08:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rbicmsblog.reedbusiness.com\/elogic_660000266\/2009\/07\/22\/war-horse-gallops-across-london-stage\/"},"modified":"2009-07-22T08:10:00","modified_gmt":"2009-07-22T08:10:00","slug":"war-horse-gallops-across-london-stage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.publishersweekly.com\/blogs\/shelftalker\/?p=526","title":{"rendered":"War Horse Gallops Across London Stage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have never read Michael Morpurgo&#8217;s book <em><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www2.scholastic.com\/browse\/book.jsp?id=4602\" rel=\"noopener\">War Horse<\/a><\/em>, but just <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/07\/14\/theater\/14warhorse.html\" rel=\"noopener\">reading about its adaptation<\/a> as a play for the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nationaltheatre.org.uk\/warhorse\" rel=\"noopener\">London stage<\/a> makes me think I ought to, if for no other reason than to&nbsp;prepare myself for the play&#8217;s eventual arrival here, where I will, mark my words, go and see it.&nbsp;Why am I so gung-ho about a horse play?
