(They&#8217;re selling&nbsp;a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alastore.ala.org\/detail.aspx?ID=2578\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">matching bookmark<\/a> too.) I have ALWAYS loved, loved, loved the collage illustrations in this book, AND the women represented on its pages. The thought that I could have that art and some of those women not just in my bookcase but <em>on my walls<\/em> might be more temptation than I can bear. And just think how great that poster would look in my office corner, alongside my posters for <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.randomhouse.com\/catalog\/display.pperl\/9780375832420.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anne Frank<\/a><\/em> written by Josephine Pool, illustrated by Angela Barrett (Knopf, 2005) and <a href=\"http:\/\/teacher.scholastic.com\/authorsandbooks\/events\/frida\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Frida<\/em><\/a> written by Jonah Winter, illustrated by Ana Juan (Scholastic, 2002).<\/p>\n<p> Lest you men reading this&nbsp;feel I&#8217;m giving you short shrift, note that I&#8217;ve also got a poster over my desk from <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.randomhouse.com\/catalog\/display.pperl?isbn=9780553112030\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Woody Guthrie: Poet of the People<\/a><\/em> by Bonnie Christensen (Knopf, 2001) and <em><a href=\"http:\/\/us.macmillan.com\/holeinmylife\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hole in My Life<\/a><\/em> by Jack Gantos (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2002).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the top of my wish list this week is a new poster available from&nbsp;the ALA&nbsp;Store&nbsp;featuring art from Amelia to Zora: Twenty-Six Women Who Changed the World written by Cynthia Chin-Lee and illustrated by Megan Halsey and Sean Addy (Charlesbridge).
