Hot New Releases!

Barbara Vey -- January 7th, 2014

I finally made it to warm Florida from the frozen tundra.  Although I left -13 degrees, it was only in the 50’s when I arrived, but it felt downright balmy.  It’ll hit the 80s by the end of the week and I’ll be in Orlando attending the Seymour Agency Author Retreat.  This is the only way to appreciate winter.  I brought 6 paperbacks with me, but I’ve got a ton more on my e-reader.  I thought I was all set and now here’s a bunch of new releases to chooses from.

New Releases This Week!

Barbara Vey -- November 20th, 2013

I had the luxury of visiting my grandkids this past week.  I don’t see them often, so it’s always a treat for me.  We had an early Christmas and exchanged gifts.  I always give them gift cards for book stores and we make an adventure out of it.  Normally, they see how many books they can get for their money, but it changed a little this year.  Alex, 13, a huge reader, bought a Rubix Cube.  He already mastered the 3×3 and wanted a 4×4.  Lydia, 10, picked out a book, but it’s not what you think.  It was the Dr. Who Encyclopedia.  She also added a Dr. Who bookmark (Keep Calm…I’m the Dr.) and a Dr. Who post it set.  I would have picked out totally different things, but the joy was watching them in the bookstore and enjoying a beverage while they enjoyed their purchases.  Here’s some choices you might make with a gift card.
