L. A. Banks

It is with deep sorrow that I write this today.  Adored novelist L. A. Banks passed away yesterday morning.  Her fanclub posted this announcement on Facebook:

“It is with profound sadness that I announce that Leslie Esdaile Banks, our Queen literary pen passed this morning. I will share details of funeral arrangements as soon as they become available.”

Leslie Esdaile Banks has written several diverse genres that encompass 40 novels and 12 novellas under several psuedonyms (Leslie Esdaile, Leslie A. Banks, Leslie Esdaile Banks and L. A. Banks).  She was a featured speaker on HBO’s special Vampire Literature and Legends.

The Liar’s Club will be holding a benefit and celebrating her life on August 6th.  A fund has been set up to help with the medical expenses that you can access here.

Bottom Line:  Leslie’s spirit and talent will be deeply missed.

It’s so sad. Met her a few years ago at RT in Daytona and she was so sweet, fun and down to earth. She will be missed. She was a great writer and a great person!

I and many others have enjoyed her books. Leslie kept you intriqued and waiting for the next book to come out. I would read her books in a day or two because I couldn’t put it down. I felt like I was apart of the stories she told. She was extremely talented and gifted. She will be missed, but not forgotten. I regret I didn’t get a chance to me my favorite author. My prayers are with the family.

I read that she has had a fight with insurance, at some point have to choose between herself and her child. Many authors face this. And when catastrophic illness strikes…. I find it appalling that, in his wonderful country of ours, we can’t all get the care we need. I am so sorry for the lost of a wonderful author. She will be long remembered.

I am just learning of Leslie’s passing. She was a wonderful writer and kept me bitting my nails. I met Leslie through my employment at the Minority Business Enterprise Council, doing MED Week. She just was a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to the MED Week Committee. She also served as keynote speaker at some of the luncheon events. My most memorable moments was when she introduce President Obama. Wow! I feel so honored to have witnessed that. I said to myself, You Go Girl! Just Do It! My prayers go out to her family, friends and fans. One thing I can say with true beilef, she definitely made an impression on the world.

It never seems fair when we lose one of the really good people in this world. Every time anyone walked up to Leslie she had a smile for them and words of encouragement. I feel so bad for her daughter and family. She will be missed so much by all of us.

Hi this is somewhat of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!|

I am super excited to test this!! Sadly, I inherited my dad’s genes and also have to shave each and every other day, that is EXHAUSTING! I have only ever had my eyebrows waxed as soon as and it did not hurt that negative (and I am a large child when it comes to pain, that’s why I cannot pluck my very own eyebrows :) . Will this operate for upper lip? Since it is, I have to use Nair (which isn’t going to get it all) and after that bleach the rest! Also, will entire body lotion afterwards maintain it from staying raw or finding irritated? Or is there some thing else I must use?
