  2. 6-Year-Old Lands 23 Book Deal: What? Nope.

    That story in the Mirror says, “A boy of six has won a book deal worth thousands.”

    Yup, it’s worth thousands, all right, but not to the boy. The press that offered that “mega deal for 23 books” is Strategic Book Publishing of Boca Raton, Florida, a notorious vanity press. They’re currently being sued by the Florida Attorney General for deceptive business practices.

    The kid and his mom have been scammed. Do some research, people. It isn’t optional.
