Rumors have surfaced that Janet Evanovich may be leaving longtime publisher St. Martin’s Press, after the Macmillan imprint failed to pony up $50 million for her next four books. Mike Fleming, on Deadline Hollywood Daily, says the author’s agent and son, Peter Evanovich, may now be shopping the bestseller to new houses.
