Audio Bestsellers: Through 2/24/13

Screen shot 2013-03-04 at 11.23.43 AMThis week on PW’s audio bestseller list, James Patterson’s Alex Cross, Run (narrated by Michael Boatman and Steven Boyer for Hachette Audio) grabs the top spot, sending Bill O’Reilly’s Killing Kennedy: The End of Camelot (Macmillan Audio) down to #2.

In at #3 is Patterson and Mark Sullivan’s Private Berlin (narrated by January LaVoy and Ari Fliakos for Hachette Audio), while Harlan Coben’s Play Dead — which is narrated by Scott Brick for Brilliance Audio — comes in at #4, and Debbie Macomber’s Love in Plain Sight (narrated by Amy McFadden for Brilliance) takes the #5 spot.

Audio Bestsellers: Through 2/17/2013

Screen Shot 2013-02-25 at 11.19.57 AMThis week on PW’s Audio Bestseller List, the inevitable happened: Bill O’Reilly’s Killing Kennedy: The End of Camelot (Macmillan Audio) reclaimed the top spot.

In at #2 was Dr. Phil’s Life Code: The New Rules for Winning in the Real World (read by the good doctor for Bird Street Books), while grabbing the #3 spot was Guilt by Jonathan Kellerman — read by John Rubinstein for Random House Audio.

James Patterson and Mark Sullivan’s Private Berlin (narrated by January LaVoy and Ari Fliakos for Hachette Audio) dropped to #4, and in at #5 — and back on our bestseller list following the tragic death of its author — was Chris Kyle’s American Sniper, read by John Pruden for HarperAudio.

Snatching the top spot on this week’s Audio Bestseller List from PW is Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson’s A Memory of Light. This final installment in the late Jordan’s Wheel of Time series is narrated by Michael Kramer and Kate Reading for Macmillan Audio.

Dropping to the #2 spot (gasp!) is Bill O’Reilly’s Killing Kennedy: The End of Camelot (Macmillan Audio), while coming in at #3 is Stuart Woods’s Collateral Damage, narrated by Tony Roberts and available from Penguin Audio.

In the #4 spot is Janet Evanovich and Dorien Kelly’s The Husband List, which is read by Lorelei King for Macmillan Audio, and rounding out the Top 5 is Nora Roberts’s Mysterious, narrated by Ashley Adlon and Gayle Hendrix and available from Brilliance Audio.

Live at B&N: Ann Leary’s The Good House

The Good House reading at B&N.

Last week, Ann Leary, author of The Good House, held a book signing at the Barnes & Noble on the Upper West Side in NYC.

And, her audiobook narrator, Mary Beth Hurt, read an excerpt from the book, giving the audience a preview of what the audio edition sounds like.

But, if you missed the event — which, a reliable source tells Listen Up, was attended by quite a few celebs — don’t despair.
