Audio Bestsellers: Through 12/30/12

Adam Boretz -- January 7th, 2013

While Bill O’Reilly’s Killing Kennedy: The End of Camelot (Macmillan Audio) remains at the top of PW’s Audio Bestseller List, the rest of our top five is dominated by titles from Hachette Audio.

This week, our #2 and #3 titles respectively — both available from Hachette — are Stephen Colbert’s America Again: Re-Becoming the Greatness We Never Weren’t and James Patterson’s Merry Christmas, Alex Cross.

In the #4 slot is another Hachette title: I Declare: 31 Promises to Speak Over Your Life by Joel Osteen, who also narrates the audio edition. And rounding out our top five is David Baldacci’s The Forgotten — narrated by Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy for — you guessed it — Hachette Audio.

In the #2 spot is J.K. Rowling’s The Casual Vacancy (read by Tom Hollander) from Hachette Audio, which also grabs the #3 and #4 spots with James Patterson and Marshall Karp’s NYPD Red  (read by Edoardo Ballerini and Jay Snyder) and Joel Osteen’s I Declare: 31 Promises to Speak Over Your Life.

And rounding out the Top 5 is Lee Child’s The Affair (read by Dick Hill) from Random House Audio.
